Honey bee and their population crisis.

• Honey bees are not only an important honey producer but also one of the most important pollinators which affect worldwide crop production.

• They have been in danger since the late 1990s in various places in Europe and the U.S. The crisis was also reported in Jan 2022 in South Korea. > 99% of bees left their colony, the empty colony is left alone. The big population reduction is called Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD).

• However, do not know the exact reason for the phenomenon.

• The rapid global weather change (may be related to the food collection)
• The pesticides such as Neonicotinoid Pesticide.
• insects like varroa mites and varroa destructors
• the viral disease carried by insect vectors
